Scale and sustainably deliver financial dignity and economic empowerment programming into communities nationwide through strategic partnerships and collaborations.

OUR MISSION

Rehab Warriors mission is to revitalize communities while empowering military veterans with a continued service as America’s developer.

OUR VISION

We are driven by the vision that America must rebuild with purpose, diversity, and inclusion.

ABOUT REBUILDING THE FORT

Rebuilding the Fort empowers banks, municipalities and institutions to revitalize community, remove neighborhood blight, and create workforce housing; while supporting military veterans with meaningful high earning post service careers as America’s Developer.

We partner with the Rehab Warriors Career School to provide military veterans actual construction projects as a training site. In return they provide a direct pathway to a career in affordable housing rehabbing, home building, and property development in America.

Hypothesis Tested

Can a workforce training program in residential development for military veterans increase the supply of affordable housing and provide better employment and social outcomes?

Innovation

Increasing housing supply through an Integrated Education Program exclusively for Military Veterans as a post service career.

THE PROBLEM

The Affordable Housing Crisis

Communities across America suffer from the lack of quality affordable housing and a surplus of dilapidated homes from an aging housing stock.

Unemployment in America

In May 2020, the veteran unemployment rate was 9.1%. Among the 284,000 unemployed veterans in 2019, 56 percent were ages 25 to 54, 39 percent were age 55 and over, and 5 percent were ages 18 to 24. As the country reopens and America retrains its workforce adjusting to a new normal, veterans will be disproportionately effected.

Lack of Standardized Training

No standardized training exists to support small business careers in affordable housing rehabbing, home building, and development in America.
